Parents night out

A rare occurrence of parents in this blog. Haha.
The adults snuck away to a Foreigner and Kid Rock concert last week. Lots of laughs were had. This crew is the best!

but...a concert until midnight isn't always the brightest idea when you have to work at 6 the next day.

Go Army Beat Navy

Last week, Cavin and his best friends headed up to the U.S. Army Military Academy at West Point for a week of lacrosse!
They were so proud to be there and excited for this adventure.

A week later, a few more bruises, a whole bunch of camaraderie, and a continued love of both the army and lacrosse...I think they are ready to go back.

Cav and Liv

Cavin and Alivia met in pre-k and have shared such an incredible bond since then. We take every opportunity we can to see this sweet girl when she is home in Va.
This past Sunday we met up with Alivia and her dad and went bowling. The kids had a great time...and their smiles of seeing each other were priceless! Xoxo

The girls

Celebrating the 4th of July in style! (And wet lake hair!)

Lake Anna 2015

We spent a weekend at Lake Anna this year and had an amazing time!! The kids (and puppy) spent the whole time in the water. And the adults got a chance to really relax and recharge.
I even took a nap! Gasp!

All together we had six adults, nine kids, and three dogs. Always an adventure! But wouldn't have it any other way!!

Mid week movie date

Our weekends are so crazy with competitive sports, that we have to squeeze in other things throughout the week!
Last night was a mid week movie date to see Disney-Pixar's Inside Out. Super cute movie, and a whole lotta popcorn.
And of course. More fun memories with my favorite girl.

Ps..don't you just love her dress? Thanks Bee's Bowtique!

Little rider

Jacie won 7th place on Sunday at the Warrenton Pony Show. She did amazing and made us proud as always.

She loves to be out there on her pony - and we love to see her smile!
Best part of all, she is excited about her favorite color of ribbon.
That's what matters.

Glory update

3 months old, 20lbs, and she claimed the middle seat in the truck!

This pups is tons of fun, even more work, but a great addition to the Strawser crew.

Luke Bryan - Kick up the dust tour

Concert time!! These kids begged and begged to go to a Luke concert. There's just something about the concert on the lawn atmosphere that draws people in.

Everyone had a great time! Singing, dancing, people watching, more singing. We definitely made memories that night.

Only problem- now the kids are making their 'I wanna see ____ in concert' list.
Good thing they have a lifetime ahead of them!
