If a tree falls...

If a tree falls, and no one is around, does it make a sound?
Well, in our case, a tree was pulled down in true redneck fashion (a rope, a chainsaw, and a 4-wheeler) while Caden and Cavin cheered from the yard. Did it make a noise? Yes...it fell hard, created a loud crash and shook the ground. But of course, Caden and Cavin weren't scared. They yelled "Do it again Granddaddy...cut the bigger one."
Sunday we went up to Fairfax to help Chris' dad take down a dead tree. The kids had a blast watching their dad, uncle and granddad work in the yard. And in the end, Chris, Uncle Dan, and Granddaddy were busy cutting and stacking wood while Caden and Cavin played and played and played in the piles of fallen leaves and sawdust. Boys will be boys!
