What's a trip to Daytona Beach, Florida without the ocean and the beach! The kids thought the beach and the ocean were the greatest. As you can tell by the lack of swimming suits, we weren't planning on a day in the sand. But it was 80 degrees and beautiful so we definitely wanted to make sure the boys saw the ocean and got to play for a little while. At first, they were both pretty reluctant to step foot on the sand. But after a few minutes they were having a great time letting the water hit their feet and then running all over the beach. It was fun! Of course, they were both a complete disaster when we left...but it was a big highlight of their trip so it was worth it!
