We took a family trip to Charlottesville, VA to watch the UVA vs DUKE football game. We met up with some friends around 9am for some tailgating, and then headed into the stadium around 1130 for the game. It was a great day, despite the 100 degree heat. But we stuck it out and had a great time. And UVA won the game too...which made it even better!
And of course, we were all wearing our UVA gear. Cavin was the cutest...he had his hat, jersey, shorts, and shoes...and he was yelling Go Wahoos all day. Well, almost everyone was wearing their UVA gear. Caden has made it very clear that he will NEVER be a UVA fan, and he proudly wore his Virginia Tech gear all day. I am about 100% sure he was the only person within a 50 mile radius with the rival team's colors on. But he is a true Hokie fan! (And I think he only got away with it because he is 3!) They sure take their college football seriously around here. And my boys are growing up right in the thick of it!
