They are growing up

Well, I guess it had to happen sooner or later. Caden and Cavin have grown up to the point where they no longer wanted their red, white and blue airplane room that they had since Caden was born. Sad, I know.
We started paying attention to their interests and their requests to make sure their 'new' room fit them and their personalities. Chris and I thought long and hard about this...and came to the conclusion that our kids are WAY to diverse in the things they love to give their room a single theme.
So we just started piecing things together. And we are really happy with the end result. There is a little bit of everything in their room. Baseball, football, skateboards, motorcycles, you name it...it is in there. The only things we are waiting on is something for the DC United (but we have to wait until next soccer season) and something to represent the Sacramento Kings (dont forget Nana, they are counting on you!). And there is even a map of the United States and a collection of shot glasses that respresent everywhere the boys have been. They have been pretty avid travelers in the past 4 years.

Cavin helped paint the room. He was so excited to help, but not nearly as excited when Chris rolled the pain right over his picture. You can only imagine the crying fit that came from that.
