Since Cavin seems to eat, sleep and breathe lacrosse, we took the short drive up to Philadelphia, PA so he could experience part of the 2012 US Lacrosse Convention. We spent HOURS walking around the conventions center. He tried out tons of new equipment, collected a lot of lax 'stuff', and got to talk about the SCLC Ravens to just about anyone that would listen.
Trying out the new Easton stick at the Champion booth. Fastest shot competition...this was one of the later shots...he led the U9 age group with 43MPH for most of the day, but had been out-shot by the time the day was over. Winning speed for 6-8 year olds: 48MPH. Not too bad for my little guy!
See that orange shirt up in the top corner?? That's Maverik Lacrosse's souvenir shirt from the convention - you could only get one by dancing. SO....that's Jacie and Caden out there playing Dance Central on Kinnect in front of the big crowd. It was adorable! And they both came home with bright orange "Beast Mode" shirts.
My happy little boy!!! Love to see him smiling.
