Saturday was a day of motorcycles. We left the house at 8am to go up to Washington DC for the International Motorcycle Show at the DC Convention Center. It was a great day. The boys had a great time seeing different motorcycles, climbing on all of the 4-wheelers, and of course watching the BOSS Brothers stunt team. Cavin was awestruck while Caden just kept saying 'Did you see that?'
We spent most of the day walking around the convention center and stopped at one point to watch a demonstration of the new 2007 Toyota Tundra. We entered into a quick drawing and ended up winning tickets to the Toyota Series Arenacross. So when we were done with the Motorcycle show we loaded everyone back up and headed up to the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, MD. (as a side note...Baltimore is crazy when there is a Raven's playoff game going on!)
With the tickets we won we were given pit passes which allowed us to go out onto the dirt to meet the racers and see the track. Caden and Cavin LOVED it. I think they would have jumped onto every bike if we would have let them. Our seats were great and we all really enjoyed watching the races.
We finally left Baltimore around 10:30pm and got home around midnight. So all in all, it was very long...but the kids had a great time and really enjoyed the entire day.
