The 4th of July

What a great holiday. The 4th of July has got to be one of our favorite family holidays. The weather was perfect this year, and it was just an overall good day to celebrate!
After work on Tuesday, we drove down to Kings Dominion to watch the fireworks show. It was awesome. Despite a few mishaps with where the fireworks were actually going to be displayed, it was a really nice show, and all of the boys seemed to enjoy it...however, Caden and Cavin said it was a little bit too loud. But that is a step up from last year when they both fell asleep and slept through most of the show.
Then on Wednesday morning we woke up and went back to Kings Dominion to spend the day at the waterpark. The boys all loved it. And after a few hours at the waterpark, a few rides, and a Dora sing along show...we were all exhausted and ready to head home. Later in the evening Cameron lit off a few fireworks before it got dark. We wanted Caden and Cavin to be able to see a few before they went to bed. They seemed to really enjoy all of the fireworks and festivities. And they especially loved having a huge crowd of kids gathered around the house. There is something about the 4th of July that brings the neighborhood together.
We all hope you had a wonderful holiday! Happy 4th of July!!
