Happy Thanksgiving!

We are so thankful to have the wonderful friends and family that surround us in our life! And we thank God each and every day for all of you! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. This Thanksgiving holiday was a busy one. Bright and early Saturday morning, the 17th, Caden, Cavin and I got on an plane and headed to California. After a long flight which nearly resulted in Cavin being left in Boston (intentionally)...we finally landed in San Francisco and had a wonderful 5 day visit with my mom, dad, Grandma and all of the rest of the family. It was so nice to be home and to see everyone. And it was especially wonderful to see my Grandma. The kids LOVED playing with Glamma (as they called her) and with Nana and Papa and are already talking about when we will see everyone again. We landed on Saturday afternoon and had a nice dinner with Nana, Papa, Uncle Derek, Aunt Karen and Glamma. Then on Sunday we woke up, went to church, and then headed to Fairytale Town with some friends. Caden and Sarah hit it off immediately. Fairytale Town opened in 1959 and has been a wonderful place for children ever since. The kids loved it. They got to climb up a giant beanstalk, walk along the crooked mile, slide down a slide from the Old Woman's shoe, get water from Jack and Jill's hill, and so on. Plus, they got to see the real 3 little pigs and their brick house. Fun fun! Monday-Wednesday were just very relaxing days. The boys played a lot, they visited Santa Clause at the mall and even had an early Thanksgiving on Tuesday night with all of the family. Everyone loved seeing the boys and are were very sad to hear that we wont be home for Christmas this year. And on Wednesday night we flew back home and landed early Thursday morning. Just in time for a short nap, time to pick up Cameron and Thanksgiving Dinner at Chris' dad's house with Granddaddy, Anita, Uncle Justin and Uncle Daniel. It was a wonderful week to be able to spend with all of our loved ones. We met Chris at the airport on Thursday morning. He had spent the past week in West Virginia hunting with his family. He had a successful trip, and within a few weeks we will have a freezer full of venison to eat. We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and we wish you all a great and joyous holiday season!
