Great Season Spotsy Little League Indians!

Well, we headed to Florida a little bummed that Caden would miss his final t-ball game of the season, and his team party. However, due to some very unfortunate and tragic events that occurred here in town that directly impacted the Spotsylvania Little League, all activities were postponed and Caden made it home just in time for everything to be started back up. (Click HERE to read the story of the sad passing of Chelal Matos)
This past weekend as the Tball Season ended, the Spotsy Little League Indians had a Parents vs Kids game. Chris and Caden had a great time out there on the field. Of course, the kids won the game 22-2. Amazing huh? (Of course, there were 11 kids out there, and each one got to hit twice. You do the math!)
Immediately following the game, the team headed to Red Robin to celebrate a great season. Caden had a great first experience with T-ball, and is having a hard time grasping the fact that he has to wait two whole months before the fall season will start.
Thank you so much to Coach Paul and Assistant Coaches Scott and Jim for helping Caden learn to love the sport.

See you in Fall Ball!

Wow, what a sad story! Bryan and I had a "discussion" last summer about lightning and the dangers, learned a lot from the research. Pretty scary. It truly is rare to be killed by it, but so sad, especially since it is often kids. A teenager was killed not too long ago (last year, year before?) while shutting the window inside the house. Not a joke.

But I am glad that Caden was able to play the last game and enjoy the party! Fun stuff!
