A couple weeks ago we were lucky enough to go to Jay Jay's 3rd birthday costume party!

Unfortunately, not too long after the party got started...the kids all changed out of their costumes. Some were too hot, others were too frilly to run around a party. And then of course there was Caden - the Zombie - who managed to terrify the little kids. Especially the birthday boy!

And the kids were excited about putting them out on the front porch! Of course, in an effort to save the kids' clothes, Ms. Kristin bought washable paint. The downside...the past 3 days of rain turned the pumpkin art into plain old orange pumpkins again! I guess it's a fresh canvas now.

On to the next activity! A cement truck Pinata. This was Jay Jay's favorite part!

Caden's turn! It took a little while, but eventually Cameron stepped up and broke the pinata open. Candy was EVERYWHERE!
