Happy Easter 2008

Easter this year was as eventful as ever! The boys woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had visited them the night before. And they were SO excited.
Now I dont know about where you guys all live...but the easter bunny that comes to our house isn't huge on candy. One or two little things - MAX! And a couple little toys a trinkets. And of course eggs too. Well apparently the Whitehouse family thought something different and the boys also ended up with a GIANT bucket of candy. Nothing but candy. Thanks Kim! And this was on top of the two HUGE bags of cookies that Nana and Papa sent. So needless to say, Easter was not the day to be dieting!
We headed out to Ronni and Lee's house to celebrate Easter with the rest of the local family. The boys had a great time and not only got to play with their cousins all day, but they also had a big Easter Egg hunt. Fun stuff! And even the older kids got to have some fun outside. They had a treasure hunt and Cameron came home the winner...a box full of gold and silver dollars, and some gift cards. I have to say he definitely had a successful day. And I can also say that he ENSURED that his newly won treasure chest was locked and put away in his room so no scheming 3 and 4 years old could get their hands on it. Crazy kids.
But Easter was a great day. The weather was great, and spending the day with family made everything perfect. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday!
