3 years old!!!

My baby boy is 3 years old! Today Cavin turned 3...can you believe it? And he is VERY excited about being three years old. He thinks it's awesome that he is the same age as Caden. And of course, to him, being three is a LOT better than being two.
We had a small party for him at school. And I think he had a good time. He was a little upset that his dad and Cameron weren't able to be there. But he had Caden sit next to him so everything worked out okay!

Then when Chris got home from work, we let Cavin pick where to go out for dinner. Most kids would pick something kid-friendly...like pizza or McDonalds. But not Cavin. He wanted to go to Chipotle! Funny I know. He gets it from his dad...the two of them would pick that restaraunt any day! So we headed out for dinner at Chipotle and then came home to let Cavin open the presents he got in the mail. He was super excited and loved everything. And thanks to Brandy, Shane, Jack, Gillian and Henry - we all got to stay up and build sandwiches with Cavin's new game. :) Thank you to everyone!

and he got some awesome new pajamas from Derek and Karen. And of course a new skateboard shirt...which I'm sure he will HAVE to wear to school tomorrow! Thank you so much!!!
