We put our tree up a bit early this year...before Thanksgiving. But we knew the next few weekends were going to fly by!
The kids started the day by opening gifts from Nana. The Elf on the Shelf. What more could any kids ask for than their own elf from the North Pole. Now let's just hope it helps their behavior between now and Christmas morning. 
Presents # 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 were new ornaments for everyone. Nana sends us all ornaments each year to hang on the tree. And this year was no different. A new ornament to help relive the memories made throughout the year.
This was the first year Jacie was able to help out. She opened her Disney Princess ornament and hung it in the perfect spot!
The boys followed with their new Disney ornaments...and then finished up the rest of the tree.
The star hasn't made it on yet, so there is no 'final' tree picture. In fact, the star looks a little funny every time we try to put it up there. I guess we will have to wait until Christmas Morning for a final pic!

I think we need to get an elf on the shelf for next year. I've heard good things about them.
My kids LOVE elf on the shelf. Unfortunately he is in storage somewhere this year. The tree looks great, even if you did decorate before Thanksgiving!! Jacie just looks TOO big! It makes me sad :(
