Two years ago today I woke up having contractions. After Chris' shower, suitcase packing, dropping the boys off at daycare, and a quick drive to the hospital...Jacie joined our family and has been the most amazing addition I could have ever asked for. (The birth story post)
These past two years have flown by. How is my baby girl 2 already?
Jacie and I were fortunate enough this year to be in California for a quick trip and celebrated Jacie's 2nd birthday with family and friends. It was so nice to have everyone around her
The cake that Jacie and Nana made
Ready to cut the cake...
Opening presents
She wanted to try the clothes on right away
Next up...face painting! Thank you to my wonderful cousin Marissa for the entertainment!!! For all of you moms there in Sac - Marissa works for Happily Ever Laughter and will give your child an AWESOME birthday party!
Jacie with Marissa and Nichole! She was so proud of her butterfly!
Nana got a matching butterfly!
Even GreatGrandma had her face painted! (After she made sure she wasnt going to need paint thinner to get it off!)
Balloon animals! After only a minute or two, Nana and Papa's house was overrun with balloon animals and insects. A puppy, butterfly, snail, caterpillar, monkey...

Thank you so much to all of the friends and family that were there to celebrate! It was truly a memorable day!!!

Back here in VA...Jacie woke up this morning and was immediately singing "Happy Birthday" to herself. She wanted to wear her cupcake shirt and kept yelling "Im Two" at the top of her lungs. I couldn't help but smile at what a wonderful joyful little girl she is!
After her day at school, we took her to Red Robin to celebrate.
I didnt catch her smile in time...but still cute. She was so happy to see Red Robin!
They came to sing to her, brought her balloons (which almost immediately headed towards the ceiling), and handed her a gigantic cupcake! What a lucky girl
