Myrtle Beach - Saturday

We decided to take a quick family trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina while the weather was still cooperating. We got an awesome deal through our timeshare, jumped in the car, and 6 hours later were enjoying the beautiful sunshine at the beach. Okay, I'm lying. We got there and it was raining. What a wonderful Friday evening! We made the best of it and drove around checking out the sights and planning out the next couple of days to make the most out of our time.

On Saturday the rain held out a little and we went down to an awesome place called Boardwalk at the Beach. It was a great little area with shops, restaraunts, and plenty of family things to do. Here are some pictures from Saturday...

This is at the Ripley's Believe it or Not Aquarium. They had a pirate exhibit that Caden just HAD to see. And of course, the shark exhibit was a huge hit with everyone. Even Jacie loved the aquarium. She was smiling the whole time.

Of course, the first stop was the sign...notice Cavin is thrilled to be having his picture taken. And Caden is letting everyone know where he is from...VA!

The sharks swam right over our heads. This was the most amazing part of the whole place. The kids thought it was 'so cool' and Jacie was amazed.The Sea Turtle was a favorite too. The camera didnt do him justice. He was HUGE!

Everything in the museam was Hands-On. PERFECT for two inquisitive little boys!

Outside was a lake where they had little fish food dispensers. We though it was a joke of course...you pay money just to throw food into the water. But it really was crazy what happened when we bought the food and started dropping it into the lake....

The fish swam right up to the top of the water. It was crazy. And there were HUNDREDS of them.

And then of course...we HAD to make a stop at the KISS Store.
