Day three took us on a driving tour of Fredericksburg. We continued learning about George Washington with a visit to his boyhood home on Ferry Farm, VA, and then to the Kenmore Plantation where his sister lived. We also saw the Chatham Manor and a Confederate cemetery. It was really interesting...and nice to see some of the local highlights.

We came home and the boys and Nana played in the beginning of what turned out to be a gigantic snowstorm. Of course, we didn't know it was coming. So they took advantage of the dusting on the ground with a mini-snowball fight.

And the whole night was finished off with pizza and a movie.

Well I suppose that Nana and Aunt Diana don't see a whole lot of snow, so that was probably pretty exciting for all! Glad the boys got a little snow this year! More George history, eh? And the boys were so eager! What fun! Pizza and a movie, sounds pretty fun, too!
