Sad Sky

Today I picked up the kids from school and the were telling about how they learned the word star in Spanish, es-tray-YAH! as they say it. They told me all about stars, and how the sun is a star, etc.

So it worked out perfectly for them that tonight...Jupiter, Venus and the moon all lined up to make a sad face in the sky. If we were in Australia, of course the sky would be smiling...but the kids were just as thrilled with the frowning face.

I'm pretty impressed that my camera focused this well. But this is what it looked like from our house at about 6pm.
