Time for another season of Spotsylvania County Little League baseball!
Caden was drafted to play on the AA Express for the Fall 2012 season. And with an open slot on the roster, Cavin decided to play too. I guess it beats sitting on the sideline and watching. :)
So for the first time in a long while, I had both boys on the same team. And surprisingly, they played really well together and learned to truly be teammates and friends rather than constant rivals.
Cavin spent most of the season at third base. As it turns out, he has a natural quick-reaction reflex, and a helluva arm. Caden was one of the main pitchers while also rotating with another couple players in the 2nd base/shortstop area.
And as an additional bonus, we met the Haag family whose two boys played on our team...and whose daughter played with Jacie on the sidelines.
The boys had a great season...and we met a new family of great friends. Love it!
