Cousins Road Trip

So this was actually WAY BACK IN JUNE.  But I totally forgot to add it in when I was doing the other posts.  So oh well, it's a little out of date.  :(  But too great of a trip to ignore posting about here.

Ronni and I grabbed the five kids and headed south on a roadtrip to Georgia.  With Jacie and Jordan in the back...and Caden, Cavin, and Cannon in the middle, it was a surprisingly easy drive down I95.

We stopped at South of the Border - of course!

And spent the night in a very scary, creepy hotel in nowheresville SC...

But on Saturday morning we made it to Baxley, Georgia to see Uncle David and the rest of the Sellers family.  At Nancy's house we had a great lunch, complete with birthday cake for David.  And then we headed over to Gwyn and Little David's house for a fun afternoon of swimming and some of David's famous barbecue!

The kids had a great time...and even Uncle David joined them in the pool.  And Roxy the puppy too!

We spent Sunday touring Savannah, GA.  Such a beautiful city!  Great friends Eirinn and Michael joined us.  So with three adults, and six kids, we had a fun time traveling around the historic points of the city, and soaking in all that we could in a day.  We definitely plan to go back.

Caden and Cavin stayed with Eirinn and Michael for their annual week-long Florida trip.  And Ronni and I and the three remaining kids jumped back on the road on Monday morning and drove home to Virginia.

We truly had a great trip!  Great memories for all of us - especially for the cousins.  Time to start planning their next trip together.
